Job hunt

Well I 'm spending the beginning of my spring break looking for job postings. This year will be the year for me I know it. I still haven't gotten my paper teaching certificate yet, but
I have a print out of a web page that says I have a valid teaching certificate. Texas is very very very very slow about getting things to you. I have been working on getting this since September 2004. Quite pathetic if you ask me.

In April I will start a maternity leave at the elementary school teaching 5th grade. hoping that will be an in for a position there. I really like subbing there andwould love a full time job ......we'll see. Everyone say a prayer for me

Sam

Sam laughed for the first time today. I have been waiting rather impatiently for this might I add. I brought him into our room this morning before I left for work because he was awake in his bed. I was holding him and he got this big open mouthed smile that I have yet to capture with the camera and he giggled out loud. It was so adorable. The little things are the best things.

My other baby

Well I sold my beloved Monte Carlo today. I am a little sad, but I know it will be loved. My step brother in law just bought it to be his first car. He's 18. I think it will be appreciated especially if it is as good to him as it was to me. I already have a little sellers remorse.

A home coming...

As I sit in the morning sipping a cup of coffee I realize that my Aunt and Grandma are coming to town this morning. I have to get caught up on what I missed yesterday, and get some orders in.

I'm starting to feel the stress of having a company now, and trying to keep customers happy. Lucky the internet does most of the work for me but with over 25 customers I'm thinking about bandwidth issues that may come up,they may not no one has complained yet, but I'm already thinking ahead for it.

And Shelley complains I don't post enough pictures, so here is a phone cam picture.

Also the forums are down because they switched servers...so use the comment botton under these blogs until i redo the forums, thanks.

P.S.
I just found out that they won't be coming today because of weather.
enjoy the picture.

Making up for Monday...

Sorry for not blogging on Monday it was a long day. I was installing a Modem at a customers house all day.
Today my son Tre' turns 13 yrs. old he's now a teenager which means I should start getting grey hair. (maybe salt and pepper hair.) I wish the best for him as he lives with his mother.
My mom has decided to cook breakfast at the store which means she's splitting her time even more. I just hope she doesn't over do it with grandma coming home and there son on the way.
Shelley and I have come up with this Idea about trying beers from other countries like we had Japanese beer called Sapporo, Which I think is a great beer not to much not to little. Seems it would go great with fish or steak.. but that's me.

Thank goodness the weekend is here.

For the most part Sam is a wonderful baby and I cannot complain. Even when I have to get up with him in the middle of the night, he is usually not up for more than a half an hour. Just enough time to feed and change him and put him back in his crib. When weekends do get here I look forward to being able to sleep in with Sam or at least not have to jump up and leave him first thing in the morning. That is the hardest part of being a working mom.

I don't like to have to leave and not get to spend time with him in the mornings. Mornings tend to be the best time for him. He generally wakes up in a good mood and that is the time to see him smile the most. He will look up at me with those big eyes and just give me a full open mouth smile and it is the best thing in the world. But when I have to leave first thing, I miss that. Hopefully soon he will start smiling more at other times of the day.

Next week is our spring break and I am going to savor my mornings in bed with him. I go and get him out of his crib, bring him to our room and we watch tv. right now we watch cooking or baby shows, but here soon we will start to watch Sesame Street and the likes.....right now he watches what momma does.

Eating out ...

Well Shelley and I are eating at my mom's house. She's cooking rubens and chilly cheese fries.
It's a Rantala family tradtion around the 1st nice week of the year...but since there is really no cold weather here.
Well I'm not going to go into in the long story of the dinner but I will say this it is fun.
In other news, more setups for Ritenet and more people calling, which means more setups.
The fun stuff is when they are happy with the service.
I hope all who read this understand that some telco's are soo bad at serivcebut not all and we are just an other option. (I'm drifting ...I need a ruben....)
Well I will see you all later....I mean blog you all later!!!

A great start...

Well as some of you know I'm running my own company. It's really been slow until last week when we hired a secutry for me. She seems to be very excited about the company and is selling it like hot cakes. from 5 to 19 in a few weeks I just hope our bandwidth holds up.
Today I'm home with Sam most of the day. It's wierd to be able to work from home and take care of your son and not have to be in the office.
Funny how this company is coming togther. We are 6 months away from a second tower. I am trying to get some time set aside to start filming Wadevision on a more consent basis. I might just do some other IPTV on my own ....it's a burning desire now. Maybe a comedy, or short bits.

Well I hope you all like the new look.
Good day and sleep tight!!

A new look...
